Delmarva GIS 2016 – GIS Going Viral

Thank you again for all that attended our 2016 Delmarva GIS Conference! Our next conference will be held in 2018, so check back later for more information.

April 13th – 14th, 2016
at the
Dover Downs Hotel and Casino
Dover, Delaware 19901

Our conference kicked-off with a plenary session featuring three fantastic Ignite speakers: Esri’s Andrew Turner and Charlie Fitzpatrick, and Salisbury U’s Dr. Michael Scott.  Mr. Turner is CTO at Esri’s R&D Center; Mr. Fitzpatrick is Esri’s K-12 Education Manager; and Dr. Scott is Salisbury U’s Assoc. Dean and Director of the Eastern Shore Regional GIS Cooperative. Then, at lunch, you heard from Luis Olivieri and Dan Rhoton, of Hopeworks ‘N Camden. That line-up, along with the day’s paper and poster presentations,  our student map gallery display and all our sponsors and exhibitors. I hope left you feeling energized and inspired! I think it is safe to say that GIS is in everything we do and that GIS is Going Viral!
